Pascere: from Amanda Menahem with Head Chef Johnny Stanford

Pascere Restaurant to open in the heart of Brighton’s Lanes in June 2017.

A new restaurant, Pascere, will open in Brighton in June 2017. Embracing its Latin translation ‘to nourish’, here it will be fulfilled to the highest of standards. Quality will prevail in every aspect, creating an environment where customers are made to feel special through both excellent food and warm service.

Lunch Dishes at Pascere

The food will be simple, seasonal and sustainable, ranging from all-day grazing menus featuring small plates (such as summer truffle rarebit, spring pea custard with toasted lavender brioche or croquette of cauliflower with parmesan and truffle) to a full a la carte menu and tasting menu featuring classics (such as braised beef pappardelle or roast trout with cauliflower and elderberry). Food can be accompanied by a wide selection of recommended wines by the glass.

Diners will be able to pop in for a simple glass of wine and a couple of small plates or can enjoy a full a la carte or tasting menu (evenings only). Produce will be sourced from the finest suppliers, local whenever possible.

Sundays will be a special event with an upmarket brunch featuring dishes such as frozen yogurt with fresh honeycomb and Pascere’s own granola as well as a variety of other luxurious brunch options. Diners will be encouraged to spend a lazy day socialising or simply reading the papers with delicious food and wine and exceptional service.
